Abundant Life will be partnering with the Cru ministry, locally known as Fokus, to reach out to the community through a variety of outreaches and leadership opportunities they have developed over the years. We will join Fokus in providing ministry-focused events and outreaches that will minister to families and other community-centered needs. Along with partnering with Cru, Abundant Life Worship will be leading worship events, leadership workshops and other worship-centric activities to evangelize and encourage the community and other local ministries.

Leo called it marketplace evangelism because in Central America the city marketplace is the center of life where people go every day to buy and sell. Mark 16:15 teaches that we are to go to the world and preach the Gospel and not wait for them to come to us. An additional passion of GNIA is to not only go and share the Good News but also to send workers to the harvest where they can reach more people with the Gospel and plant churches. Our goal is to help start 25 churches in the MetroAmerica 020 cities with one million people and larger and 25 churches in neighboring towns by the year 2025.

The Live Sent India team will have a unique and amazing opportunity to engage in the local culture of Southern India. The team will serve in a government school, teaching and serving kids from early education through eighth grade. In addition to the school, the team will eat meals and host a community party in the home of an Abundant Life member's parents. There will be opportunities to share life and make friends with incredible people from India on a trip and team you will never forget.

Throughout the year, teams come from all over the US to spend a week living in and working alongside the community, building homes and lifelong relationships. Thanks to those who give financially each month, WBOTJ (Won by One) can offer support, training, and discipleship to empower the people of Harmons even when US teams are absent.

We will be partnering with Abundant Life's own Phil and Vala Long. They are planting churches in the capital city, Antananarivo. The team will be helping conduct an English Language youth camp and taking part in church services at Abundant Life Church, Antananarivo. We can bring up to 12 team members.

Team Mongolia will be continuing a multi-year construction project that is installing a heating structure for a youth ministry facility. The team consists of skilled and semi-skilled workers including electricians, plumbers, welders, pipefitters, and carpenters.

Compassion International

We partner with Bob and Joanna Graham, who lead The South African Children's Resiliency Project. SACRP is focused on providing care and education to children affected or infected by aides. South Africa has been tremendously impacted by aides and the children have been the most impacted. The team will be working to bring upgrades to the facilities, and minister to the "grannies", the primary caregivers of the 40 children who are growing up under their leadership and guidance. There will also be an opportunity for a world-class safari at the back end of the trip.

Our trip to Vietnam is to support and uplift local workers through a unique cross-cultural summer camp. This transformative experience aims to bridge cultural divides by fostering understanding and collaboration between participants and the vibrant local community. Through skill-building activities and cultural exchange, our trip seeks to empower and enrich the lives of Vietnamese workers, creating a lasting impact that transcends borders.

Cam Perkins, originally from Topeka, Kansas, has been on a transformative journey since he started following Jesus eight years ago. Now, as a church planting resident with Abundant Life, Cam is preparing to bring the gospel to an unreached city where he hopes to plant a new church. His passion for Jesus and heart for church planting drive his mission to create a thriving community of believers. Cam and his wife, Lily, who were married in 2024, are excited to embark on this new chapter together. As they step into this calling, your support can make a significant impact on their journey to bring light and hope to the unreached world.

Stephen and his family live in the Northland of Kansas City, Missouri. Stephen graduated from William Jewell College in 2008 with his bachelor’s in history and education. He has a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Northwest Missouri State University. Stephen spent 11 years as a high school Social Studies teacher for Grandview C-4 School District. In 2022, he resigned from education to pursue ministry with a nonprofit called First Priority, where he networked the local church in Kansas City, trained student and adult volunteers, and helped launch student-led clubs in public schools in Kansas City. Stephen also serves in the Air National Guard as an officer for the 131st Force Support Squadron out of Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri. Stephen serves in his local church as an adult small group leader, leader of the Next Steps Class at the Crossroads Campus, and drummer. Stephen and his wife, Alexa, have been married for over 16 years and have two precious children, Grace and Shane.
